Lisa De Gray was a law fellow with IJRC in 2012. Lisa received her B.A. in Communications with a minor in French from Boston College. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she specialized in international human rights law and completed Georgetown’s Certificate in Refugees and Humanitarian Emergencies.
While in law school Lisa participated in the International Women’s Human Rights Clinic. As a member of the Clinic, she conducted a fact-finding investigation on women’s marital rights in Uganda and co-authored a human rights report based on her team’s findings. Lisa also interned with several human rights organizations and government agencies while in law school including the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, the American Friends Service Committee, the Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the Human Rights Law Section at the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
