Sarah joined IJRC in 2017 as an International Human Rights Law Fellow. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, and her B.A in Political Science and International Relations from the University of California, Berkeley.
Prior to joining IJRC, Sarah worked as an intern with the Global Justice Center in New York, focusing on gender justice, and with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency in Jordan, working on refugee rights.
During law school, Sarah was involved in various legal clinics as a student practitioner. In that capacity, she had the opportunity to work with Syrian refugees in Jordan; advance cases for asylum seekers in the United States; work with offshore fishing communities affected by oil in Ghana; and advocate a weapons ban at the United Nations in Geneva.
