Carolyn Lee joined IJRC as a law fellow in 2013. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Brown University, where she concentrated in Urban Studies and International Relations, with a specific focus in Political Economy and Development. She received her Juris Doctor from University of California, Hastings College of the Law. During her time at law school, Carolyn participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court competition and served as Senior Production Editor of the Hastings Law Journal. She externed for both the Office of the Clerk and the Honorable Judge Richard Seeborg at the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. She also volunteered at the General Assistance Advocacy Project, where she helped low-income individuals receive access to housing and other benefits. Carolyn calls both Toronto and Hong Kong home. She loves all forms of dance, and enjoys painting watercolors in her spare time.
