Citlalli Ochoa is currently a Practitioner-in-Residence with the International Human Rights Law Clinic at American University Washington College of Law. Previously, she was an Employment Law Staff Attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County and an Adjunct Professor in the Workers’ Rights Clinic at Loyola Law School.
Citlalli first joined IJRC as an International Human Rights Law Fellow in September 2016, before serving as a Staff Attorney for several years. She joined the IJRC Board of Directors in 2023.
During law school, Citlalli participated in the International Justice Clinic and the Human Rights Clinic, in addition to externing at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights with the Office of the Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression. She was a founding board member of the UC Irvine Journal of International, Transnational, and Comparative Law and Lead Article Editor & Notes Editor of the UC Irvine Law Review.
She holds a J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. Citlalli is admitted to the State Bar of California.
