Boston Human Rights Night

On December 7, 2011, IJRC hosted Boston Human Rights Night, an opportunity for the legal, academic, and activist communities to deepen their collaboration, share experiences, and celebrate their work. An expert panel provided detail and valuable insights on using international legal standards and international human rights mechanisms to promote and enforce human rights in the United States and abroad. Organizations sharing information about their work included Prisoners’ Legal Services, Physicians for Human Rights, the Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti, the ACLU of Massachusetts, and the Program on Human Rights and the Global Economy. Over 80 members of the legal and social justice communities, graduate students, and scholars attended Boston Human Rights Night. The evening was generously sponsored by the law firm Brown Rudnick LLP.

IJRC is grateful to Meg Elkinton for creating this video.
